The national media, El Mercurio, reported that the law passed by Congress on May 15, expands criminal liability for economic crimes and attacks against the environment, but increases penalties and responsibilities for certain crimes to directors and managers of companies.

It is now expected to be promulgated by the President and published in the Official Gazette.
