On October 19, 2020, Law No. 18,045 of the Securities Market was amended, establishing a system of automatic registration of debt securities in the Securities Registry maintained by the Financial Market Commission (the “Commission”).

Subsequently, the Commission issued General Standard No. 451 (“NCG 451”), which came into force on January 25 of this year and regulates the necessary conditions and applicable procedure in question.
