Barros & Errázuriz advised Laboratorio Pasteur S.A. in the negotiation and sale of a controlling stake in the company by the family founders of the laboratory to Mexican pharmaceutical Invekra (Laboratorios Sanfer’s holding company).

The pharmaceutical group Invekra is one of the largest in the Latam industry, and was recently backed by a USD 500 million investment from Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ) to boost its expansion in Latin America, being the acquisition of a controlling stake in Laboratorio Pasteur (second largest generic medications player in Chile) a significant step to achieve this goal.
