Barros & Errazuriz has elected two senior associates to the partnership effective January 1, 2020.  Enrique Barros, a member of the Financing & Infrastructure practice and Vicente Cordero, a member of the M&A/Corporate practice. Both of them have been with the Firm for more than 10 years and represent, together with Sergio Eguiguren, the consolidation of a new generation of partners.

With these new promotions, Barros & Errázuriz is now composed by 25 partners and more than 100 lawyers, representing one of the most relevant law firms in Chile.

Enrique Barros is a member of the Financing & Infrastructure practice of the firm who has focused his practice on advising national and foreign companies and financial institutions on different matters, such as corporate and project financing, mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, public offerings of shares and reorganizations in different industries.

Enrique holds a law degree from Universidad Católica de Chile and has a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University of California (UCLA), United States. In addition, he has a degree in Taxation Applied to Business, at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez. Between 2015 and 2016, he worked as a foreign associate in the New York law firm Shearman & Sterling LLP, where he focused in capital markets, corporate financing and project financing in both the United States and Latin America.

Vicente Cordero is a member of the M&A/Corporate practice of the firm who has focused his practice on advising local and international companies, financial institutions and Private Equity firms in a different range of matters including mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt offerings, corporate and project financings and reorganizations across various sectors.

Vicente holds a law degree from Universidad Católica de Chile and has a Master in Laws (LL.M.) in Banking and Finance from Fordham University, New York, United States. In addition, he has a degree in Finance and Accounting for Lawyers, from the Universidad de Los Andes. Between 2014 and 2017, he worked as a foreign associate at the New York law firm, Chadbourne & Parke LLP, where he focused his practice in M&A, capital markets, corporate financing and project financing in Latin America.
