The national media, Diario Financiero, published an article on the Energy Transition Law and its implications for the electricity sector.

In this regard, our partner Cristóbal Pellegrini explained that the new law introduces a mechanism that provides greater institutionalism to the execution of urgent and necessary works for carbon neutrality, highlighting the expeditious participation of the National Energy Commission and the National Electricity Coordinator for the identification and tendering of key projects.

This is part of the amendments to the General Electricity Services Law, seeking to speed up deadlines and facilitate the extension of existing works in exceptional cases.
