On July 10, the Financial Market Commission (FMC) began the consultative process on a regulatory project aimed at raising the standards for transactions with related parties, by virtue of the amendments introduced by Law No. 21,314 to Law No. 18,046.
The project considers the issuance of a General Rule that would regulate the minimum content of the regularity policy of open corporations with respect to transactions with related parties and introduces the obligation to report such transactions to the FMC.
Our Capital Markets team prepared a detailed report with the main points of the process, which has a deadline for comments on the project until August 4, 2023, through the Commission’s website. Click here to read it.
