Barros & Errázuriz advised lenders in the granting of a loan to GTD Grupo Teleductos SA, a leading company in Chile in telecommunications services, for the refinancing of liabilities of the company and its subsidiaries and the development of new investments .

The operation included the conclusion of a credit agreement and derivative contracts. The transaction was guaranteed through the constitution of GTD Teleductos S.A., GTD Medios y Contenidos S.A. and GTD Telesat S.A., as joint guarantors and co-debtors.

The transaction had several challenges, such as the recent increase in the monetary policy rate imposed by the Central Bank, which caused an increase in interest rates and the need to renegotiate them, in a short period of time.
