Barros & Errázuriz  advised Inversiones CMPC S.A.  and Empresas CMPC S.A.  in the issuance of a sustainable bond under SEC Rule 144 A and Regulation S. This is the first time a Chilean company has issued  under said legislation, and the net proceeds will be applied by the company for general corporate purposes and for sustainability performance targets, which contemplates among others, to reduce the company’s greenhouse gas emissions and water consumption.
