On Friday, January 8, the Webinar “Elimination of Libor: Legal Aspects and Challenges in the Transition Process” was held, with the participation of Luis Figueroa, Intendent of Banking Regulation, Financial Market Commission, and the international firm, White & Case LLP, through Anna Andreeva, partner of the Firm and Adrian Leal, associate of the same firm.

Some of the issues discussed were the causes that led to the elimination of Libor (London InterBank Offered Rate), what challenges and risks it will mean locally and globally, and what the economic and legal prospects are.
