Last week, Francisco de la Barra, partner of our Project Finance area, attended the opening ceremony of the S4 Power Plant (former Huatacondo), located in the commune of Pozo Almonte, in the Tarapacá Region (Chile), of which Sojitz, Shikoku Electric Power (Yonden) and Eiffage are sponsors.

Barros & Errázuriz advised the banking union, responsible for the financing of the project, established by Nexi, SMBC, Mizuho Bank Ltd., The Iyo Bank Ltd. and BICE Bank.

The plant is made up of more than 300 thousand solar panels and has a capacity of 103 MW.

The event was also attended by Juan Carlos Jobet, Minister of Energy and Cristián Rodríguez, director of InvestChile, among others.
