The financial services industry in Latin America is currently being disrupted by the application of innovations and new technologies, creating a whole range of questions and legal issues in the process. Affinitas is happy to announce that the four member firms of the alliance will be taking part in a high-level conference organized by Asobancaria, Colombia’s financial sector association, that will address these issues. The event will be held on 26-27 July in the city of Cartagena de Indias, and will offer a unique opportunity to present and discuss the latest innovations and regulatory trends that impact both the traditional financial services sector and the emerging “Fintech” sector in Colombia and Latin America.

Participating in this event allows Affinitas to share insights and experience with captains of industry, key policy makers and leading experts from the Fintech sector. The Alliance and its member firms will contribute by bringing new legal instruments and innovative applications to the forum, and by discussing global trends in financial technology.
